Professional Industry Preparation

From Learning to Real-World Industry Experience

At Megan Byrne's Music School and through Megan Byrne Productions, education is not just about learning knowledge. It is about developing the skills, confidence and professional mindset needed to apply that knowledge in the real world.

Megan works with students to begin developing their own professional performance portfolios, helping them understand what it takes to pursue opportunities within the music, acting and performing arts industries.

Learn it. Develop it. Apply it. Perform it. Build a career from it.

— The goal is simple
A professional portfolio may include
  • Professional headshots
  • Performance CVs
  • Biography and artist profiles
  • Recording and performance material
  • Audition preparation
  • Acting and singing repertoire
  • Showreel and portfolio material
  • Industry experience
  • Performance credits
  • Skills and qualifications
  • Personal goals and career development
  • Preparation for auditions, castings and professional opportunities
Developing Future Professionals

Megan believes that young performers should be encouraged to think beyond simply completing a class or learning a piece of music. Students are encouraged to develop their own identity, goals and professional direction, while learning the importance of commitment, preparation, communication, teamwork and professionalism.

Where appropriate, students can also be guided towards performance, audition, casting, work-experience and industry opportunities, allowing them to begin building practical experience alongside their education. Megan Byrne Productions aims to give students the knowledge and support they need to take their first steps towards the professional music, acting and performing arts industries.
